Not Me! Monday

It's Monday Ya'll....so you know the drill. Head on over to mckmama.com and admit to some things you might not really want to! This week I did not.....

think it was so sweet to see all my boys snuggled up with Daddy watching a movie on our new laptop..nope, not me!
I did not document my boys playing with a pink kitchen to show their wives one day that they enjoy doing dishes...nope, not me!

I am not in total disbelief that MY baby sister Danielle is the age I was when she was born... I do not remember thinking how weird it would be when I was 30 and she was 15...nope, time does not fly!!

She has not turned into a sweet{most of the time}, beautiful, caring young lady..I do not take some credit for that since she had 3 moms! nope, not me!

Tickled Me Thursday!

Today Bowen and I went to my friend Betsy's house to play. She has twin boys, River and Jude who will be 2 in May.

We were getting ready to leave and I told Bowen to give hugs to his friends, and then Betsy did the same with her boys...

Well, Jude pays more attention to me than River does. River is more of a Mama's boy so he tends to stick by Betsy. Jude on the other hand is always sitting with me or grabbing my leg for me to pick him up.

To Betsy's surprise River came up to me and put his arms around my neck and gave me a kiss!!

She was so surprised that he did that. She told me yesterday he wouldn't even give her Mom a kiss...his own Grandmother!

Needless to say..that tickled me! It also made my day!

My sweet Bowen does not get called a girl every time we go out...and since I don't want him to be scarred for life, so I did not let my friend Creighton take the scissors to his precious blond hair...nope, not me!

I did not almost cry when I saw just how precious he still is even with shorter hair..nope, not me!

Not Me! Monday

I skipped last week due to my laziness and sick kiddos..but I am back for Not Me! fun...I am sure by now ya'll know the drill...link up to mckmama at mckmama.com and join in the not me! fun.

I am not totally OVER my kids having every illness this winter....nope, not me!

I do not have the best husband in the world...he did not transform our dining room in two and a half days by adding paint, bead board, and crown molding...nope, not me!

Hodge Podge

Things have been crazy around the Woodall house lately. Luke and Jack have started Baseball and Ben is head coaching Luke's team and Assistant coaching Jack's team. I am the team mom for Luke's team too!

Ben has also been putting up bead board and crown molding in the dining room and we have been picking out paint colors for the WHOLE inside of the house. I am excited to say the least!

Andrew had his spring band concert Thursday night. He is doing so awesome in percussion and we are so proud of him! He is a joy to watch.

We battled several illnesses over the past 6 weeks or so. I am very relieved that crap is over. There is nothing worse than everyone being sick with different things and then passing it around. With 4 boys I know it is bound to happen. Especially when it is winter. We are so glad it it starting to warm up a bit. Now if it would stop raining so much! Come on Spring!

I am no longer babysitting Pierce. He now goes to pre~school 3 days a week! LR {Little Rebecca} said he LOVES it! We miss hanging out with him 2 days a week but of course we will still see our Piercey Poo!

Tickled Me Thursday!

So my friend over at katieandthem.blogspot.com started Tickle Me Thursday! and I thought it would be fun to join in...

This morning I was at Wal~Mart waiting waaaaay to long on Jack's eye meds and then they told me they didn't get the fax from the Dr.

So I called the Dr. office to talk to a nurse. When Bowen heard me say "nurse" he started laughing at me.

Confused on why he was laughing I asked Jack what he was talking about and he told me "You said nurse...ya know like a baby does!"

They thought it was hysterical that I said nurse on the phone...

I guess it would be kinda weird if I was asking someone on the phone if they wanted to "nurse" as in boobies, not Nurse as in RN!

That tickled me for sure!

~I was not totally excited to get a brand new shiny dishwasher! Nope, NOt Me! But I was not a little disappointed when my husband got sick and it is now just sitting in the kitchen waiting to be put in!

~I do not love the fact that Jack loves to wear the hats he creates at school and also loves wearing capes with rain boots and wrist guards to the store...nope, not me!

~We are not bummed out about not keeping Pierce anymore...nope, not us!
