Weekend Fun

This weekend was an eventful one to say the least. On Friday afternoon we went to
Thomas & Creighton's house to hang out and for Ben to help Thomas mud a room. We ate pizza and watched the little kids play while the big boys spent the night jumping on the trampoline and playing the WII all night! Saturday the boys were supposted to have ball practice but it was canceled because of the rain. So, instead we took our new snake to find out the sex of it. We were calling him Max. Now he is a she. Maxine. Nice, huh?! Sat. night Ben and I went to hear Matt's band~ Riverstreet play at a Mexican resturant in Dacula. It was awesome. We had a blast hanging out with Ashley and some other friends! Jon and Tori kept the big boys. Beth had Bowen. I let my baby sleepover with Beth. He had a blast playing with Haley, Kelly's daughter. Then today we went to church, ChuckECheese for a party, and Wal-Mart. Busy. Next week t-ball games start. Exciting that spring has almost arrived. I'm glad the weather is getting better. We are soooo ready. Have a great week~ peace out, bruh.

Ready to be brutally honest and live to tell about it...Here we go!

~I do not love having boys and being able to go to the reptile store to find out the sex of our new pet snake Max(or as we found out is Maxine) and buying baby rats to feed to her, Nope, Not Me!
~I did not crack up when I heard Ben putting Bowen on the toilet, and him saying "Quit touching your pee-pee so you can go potty." Cause that is some serious stuff, and I would never laugh at such a thing. Nope, Not me!
~I did not almost cry on Friday night when I had Creighton trim Bowen's hair. He was not sporting a home grown baby mullet that needed to be dealt with. I did not have to drink some rum and coke to actually let her put scissors near my baby's head. I also am not saving the precious locks of baby hair that was robbed from his baby head. Nope, not me!
~I do not love my sweet husband more each day even though we drive each other crazy sometimes. Or it's probably just..Nope, not me!
Wow, it is amazing how much better I feel now.

More Slings and Things

So, here are a few pics of the sling I made this week for a girl at MOPS. Michelle and precious baby Jackson are modeling the sling. I also made one for my SIL Ashley Lauren, hers is brown with turquoise polkadots! I also made a baby blanket, pillow, and matching burpcloths. Monkey print..sooo cute! Enjoy!

As many of ya'll know I took up sewing last year. Well, my wonderful friend Heather has taken me under her sewing wing. She has taught me some really cool stuff. So, I've decided to start selling stuff that I've created!! I can make baby slings, blankets, snack bags, burp cloths, pillowcases, and napkins. I have really enjoyed myself sewing. It is relaxing and addictive!! So tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and even strangers that Erin's Slings and Other baby things are for sale! I will have some pics up later this week! So, I have to admit....I love Not Me! Monday! I actually look forward to it thanks to MckMama. Let's get to it ya'll...



While in the Target parking lot the other day, my buggy did not roll away 6 parking spaces and a nice lady did not have to honk at me to get my attention! I did not laugh at myself with another lady in the parking lot, Nope, not me!

I was not so lazy that I swiffered the kitchen table instead of getting a rag and cleaning my table the normal way. Who would do such a gross thing?! Nope, not me!


I have not been wearing tape on my glasses this week due to Bowen losing my back-up pair and breaking the first pair! I do not look like a total DORK! Nope, not me!


I have not been a bad housewife lately. My laundry is not piled up everywhere, my floors are spotless, and my kitchen table is not covered with papers, crumbs, and more crumbs! Nope, not my house!

Ahhh, nothin like letting your dirty laundry out for everyone to see!
